EU Ideathon

EU Ideathon for sustainable entrepreneurship in VET is a 2 year partnership between Romania, Spain and Portugal and its main aim is to guide VET students in creating new business models oriented to sustainable development in order to increase their awareness in circular economy and sustainable entrepreneurship. During the project one training package with step-by-step guidelines about developing a business from scratch will be tested during one Ideathon (learning mobility) with VET students and young people. Moreover, one more educational tool will be developed using Artificial Intelligence as motivating tools. More details can be found here: http://erasmusprojects.pt/ideathon/.

Kick-off meeting in Valencia (Spain), January 2023

EU Ideathon in Penafiel (Portugal), November-December 2023

Final Meeting in Calarasi (Romania), May 2023

Youth Exchange

Six youth organisations working at EU level initiated a multicultural learning context for 36 participants and 6 group leaders. During the youth exchange, young people became familiar with 6 key competences that will be needed in the future and explored how educational programmes about essential skills are one of the solutions to support NEET young people and facilitate their access to the labour market. As part of the mobility, young people co-created an interactive learning tool, Future Skills:Pocket Guide, a collection of action cards with challenges to help develop the skills addressed, which have been tested in local workshops organised in the home communities of the national teams.

Wastepreneurship

Seven youth organisations working at EU level initiated a multicultural learning context for 35 participants and 7 group leaders. During the youth exchange, young people became familiar with different methods of waste management and how they can integrate these practices into their communities. As part of the mobility, young people learned different ways of implementing green practices in their daily life and went through the step-by-step process of creating a business idea by designing a collection of 6 green business ideas for turning waste into a useful product. They have also created the “30-Day Challenge to Boost Your Environmental Challenge” (one month challenge with everyday green practices to develop a more conscious behaviour).
